Supervision

Co-supervision of one BSc student during the Graduation project in Biology in Fall 2021:

1) Leila Askarova, title of the project: “Characterization of the effects of nitrogen and sulfur co-doped carbon nanodots on the germination and growth rate of Arabidopsis thaliana”

Supervision of BSc students for their research grant from Young Researchers Alliance 2020:

1) Aizhan Rakhmetova and Daniyar Niyetkaliyev. FRIP 2020: COVID-19 Response and Recovery Solutions for Qazaqstan, website “Uidemiz”  (2020, active project) Budget 1 mln tenge.

2) Margulan Sandybek, title of project: “Investigation of the role of senescence-associated receptor-like kinase (AtSARK) under salinity stress” – FRIP program from 3d call (2019, Nov); Budget 1 mln tenge.

Social projects

Created in social project “Auyldanmyn_ho4u_u4itsya”, in 2020, aimed to support the Kazakh kids from village with poor academic performance to guide them to success in school, all information shared on: Instagram, YouTube and and in TEDxAstana talk.

Organizing and Mentoring student clubs at Nazarbayev University

“NU Eden club”: orientated students interested in gardening, and created a relaxing environment by conducting a plant care routine (from Spring 2021)

“BioExplorer NU club”: to support and motivate the students interested in having experience in Biology and chemistry research (from Fall 2022)
