Research Interest
At the Physics Department of NU, she is working in material science, studying thermal conductivity by time-domain thermo reflectance technique. She focuses on the impact of structural modification of materials on their thermal transport properties using experimental and analytical methods.
Ainur Koshkinbayeva has received her Ph.D. from INSA Lyon, France. She holds M.Sci. in Nanoscale Physics from Rice University, the USA, and B.Sci. in Physics from KazNU named after al-Farabi. Previously, she worked in optics, design of optical multiplexers, mid-infrared waveguiding, numerical computation as well as experimental experience in characterization of mid-IR multiplexers. She has also worked as a Senior Lecturer at International IT University, Almaty, teaching classes in Physics and Basic Circuit Theory.
