Ms. Zhanbossinova obtained her BSc degree in Chemistry at University College London and MSc degree in Chemistry at L.N.Gumilyev Eurasian National University. She joined Nazarbayev University in 2010 as a teaching and research assistant. As a research assistant, she was involved in the syntheses and analyses of organic and organometallic compounds in rational drug design projects. Her career path has then focused on education as a teaching fellow at CPS NU, 2015-2021, and as an instructor at SSH NU since 2021. Particularly, Ms. Zhanbossinova is interested in improving conceptual understanding of chemistry through interactive lecture-demonstrations and out-of-class STEM shows and workshops.
