Dr. Toleuova has joined Chemistry Department at the School of Sciences and Humanities in July 2021 as an Instructor.
Dr. Toleuova has obtained her bachelor’s degree in Chemical Technology of Organic Substances at Kazakh-British Technical University in 2009 (Almaty, Kazakhstan), then in 2010, she received her master’s degree in Environmental Engineering from the University of Nottingham (Nottingham, UK). In 2015, she has received her Ph.D. degree in Chemical Engineering at University College London (London, UK). Her research was on high-temperature solid oxide fuel cells with the liquid metal anode.
Prior to joining SSH, Dr. Toleuova has worked as a Chemistry Teaching Fellow at the Centre for Preparatory Studies at Nazarbayev University from 2016 to 2020. She has been a member of the NU Faculty Senate from 2016-2018. She has been a member of the Learning and Teaching Quality Committee from 2018-2020. In 2020, she has become a Fellow of the UK Higher Education Academy.
