Dennis Balint is originally from Phoenix, Arizona (USA). Inspired by the awe of how humans can learn to communicate through learning languages, he went on to get an M.A. Degree in Teaching English as a Second Language and an Ed. D. with a specialization in Language Arts from Temple University. He has taught in the United States, Japan and the United Arab Emirates. In recent years, his instruction has focused on English composition, particularly with engineering and science-based students.
