Euphemisms (Kazakh and English), world literature, poetry, abaystudy and language teaching methodology.
Saule Mussabekova works as a Senior Manager of Kazakh Language, Literature and Culture Department. She graduated from Taraz State University named after M.Kh.Dulati, Faculty of World Languages (Bachelor’s programme) and Kazakh National University named after al-Farabi, Faculty of Philology (Master’s programme). Before joining Nazarbayev University she worked at Kazakh National University named after al-Farabi as a postgraduate and taught Kazakh Literature, she also worked at Kazakh National Technical University named after K.Satpayev as a teacher of English language. As a coordinator of Linguistic group (LLC «Bimash») Saule was responsible for: analyzing scientific articles and literary works; translation of texts; presentation of works (dictionaries); development of the Corpus of Kazakh Language etc.
As a member of a research club “Мирас” (2002) and creative club “Жалын” (2003) Saule took part in competitions and festivals in social life of university and published her first book – collection of verses.
Being a member of Young Scientists Club (KazNTU) she published more than 20 scientific articles.
She taught Elementary Kazakh at the University of Wisconsin-Madison under CESSI (Central Eurasian Studies Summer Institute) Program in 2013. She also conducts seminars and workshops on Business Etiquette and Business Correspondence for NU students and postgraduate students.
