Teaching assistant at the department of the Kazakh language and Turkic Studies of the School of humanities and social sciences Aydin Zhuniskhanov in the special project “Sana”
On the first day of March 2019, in the special project “Sana” our teaching assistant Aydin Zhuniskhanov shared his interest in the genesis of the Kazakhs and why he has chosen a profession in anthropology. At the moment, Aydin Zhuniskhanov is exploring the outskirts of the city of Semey, where the Neolithic monuments are concentrated even before modern times. According to the results of DNA analysis, we can trace the continuity of generations from the Bronze Age and prove the theory of Orazak Ismagulov, the leading Kazakh anthropologist, that the ethnogenesis of the Kazakh people has a three thousand year history.
