Two-week summer program for SNU students
The School of Sciences and Humanities has proudly launched a special summer program for students from Seoul National University with duration of 2 weeks. Seoul National University is the 29th in the world and 7th in Asia in the 2023 QS World University Rankings.
This program is a good opportunity to collaborate with the world ranked universities through teaching foreign languages, exchange students, internships for staffs, sharing our experiences, and conducting joint research activities on science and academic areas. provide more diverse, dynamic learning experiences
First group of 24 korean students are from a diverse pool of majors, such as Physics, Materials Science and Engineering, Architecture Major, Biosystems Engineering, Russian Language and Literature, Computer science and engineering / Business administration, Philosophy-sophomore and others.
“SNU in CIS (Kazakhstan): War and Peace in 21st Century and Republic of Korea” program is presented to teach courses in Russian, depending on the level of language proficiency. During this two-weeks program students had opportunity to dive in and practice Russian not only at classes but also during the networking day organized by NU-Korean student club. SSH also arranged excursion day in Astana where group had chance to visit Abu Nasr Al-Farabi Mosque, Bayterek, Presidential Palace and National Museum.
