The Office of the Registrar is the Academic department of the University responsible for the student database along with the organization and monitoring of the educational process. The Office of the Registrar provides accurate, timely services for students, faculty, staff and the University community. It has close working relationships with the Department of Student Affairs, the Office of Admissions, the Department of Academic Quality, Informational Technology and the NU Library (NULITS)- supporting the academic mission and vision of the University.

Welcome to Nazarbayev University Library

The Nazarbayev University Library is a research and education facility. The library is trilingual with specific focus on providing information in English. This modern library provides access to a wide range of electronic sources, e-books, databases, full-text journals and traditional forms of information, such as books, paper periodicals, encyclopedias and dictionaries on finance, accounting, economics, marketing and statistics.

Library working hours:

• Monday to Friday:  8.30 am – 5.15 pm
• 24 hours during the pre-exam and final exams period

• Available 24/7 via remote access
• Access to over 70 online databases and electronic journal collections
• Access to thousands of electronic books

Librarians

• Are subject-specialists  and offer Library Information Sessions
• Provide research assistance by appointment here 
• Offer one-on-one reference assistance at Reference Desk
• Provide online reference service through “Ask a Librarian”
• Create Library Guides (LibGuides) for specified online research help

• Inter-library Loan/Document Delivery service to post graduate students and faculty for items that we do not own
• Library Guides (LibGuides) provide general, discipline and course-specific research help
